Vol. Madness No. Begins
Right off the bat, (oops, should be right off the pigskin), kudos to Josh Allen, QB of the Buffalo Bills – pulled out a win in the last three minutes of the game against the Baltimore Ravens this past Monday Night – Naturally, I’d turned it off because the Bills were losing by eleven points so why continue the torture? (sorry, Ravens fans, I’ve been in love with Josh Allen since he was in high school) Then, just because I’m a masochist, I asked Alexa if the Bills won and she very nearly shouted YES, they did, an amazing comeback to win 41-40. Thanks to UTube got to watch the final minutes. Amazing game. Phew.
Hope we have some of you now playing the NFL football weekly contest – all rules/regs are on Facebook.com/catherinecoulterbooks – How many of you won all five chosen games for week 1?
Now, something to ponder. Patriot Day is Thursday the eleventh and a lot of us will remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when the terrorist planes struck the World Trade Center 9/11/2001. What’s amazing is there are actually sentient adults who weren’t even born when the attack happened and thus have no emotional connection, and 9/11 is only one more historical date. Getting old truly sucks, ah, but life is about memories and context, so that’s something to value. Even if you weren’t on the earth when 9/11 happened, do take a moment along with the rest of us and think of all the people who died and the first responders who swarmed to save those they could.
THE DEMON IN THE WALL – the 8th Grayson Sherbrooke Otherworldly Adventure, will be out in Ebook ONLY on all platforms in the next couple of days. I’m showing you the cover again, below, so you can shudder a bit. I’ll let you know on Facebook when it hits.
Yes, I’ve started wrapping Christmas presents, a yearly event when Football season starts. Now the fun begins. Ghosts, pumpkins, turkey, trees, bulging stockings – ah it’s fall, you guys, prepare for battle.
