Happy April Everyone:

On April 21st, next Saturday, if you're in the area of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, drive yourself to Independence (what a wonderful name) and come to my writers workshop and stay for my talk and signing at the 1st Presbyterian Church. (115 6th Ave., N.W.)

My workshop is from 1:00 p.m. to 230ish. My talk and signing begins at 3:00 and end at the cocktail hour (wait, we're in a church). This program benefits the Independence Public Library, a very excellent thing. As added incentive, I'm funny plus I've got great legs.

If you're a Denverite, do come see me on Thursday, May 3rd at the Koelbel Library from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. (5955 S. Holly St., Centennial, CO.)

May 4th, Friday, I'll be speaking/signing at the Denver Marriot Tech Center from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (4900 S. Syracuse Street, Denver, CO.) These events benefit the Arapahoe Library District -- we're talking a lot of virtue points if you make it to both events.

Phew, enough advertising -- now on to other stuff. I ran a contest to find a title for the 17th FBI thriller for the summer of 2013. The winning title is BOMBSHELL -- isn't that great? Now it's up to me to have a nice big honker bombshell somewhere in the book. Incidentally this book is writing as fast as a racing cat, and it could be good, it could be bad, but the characters are incredible and I'm having a blast.

Phew, I didn't know I was doing more advertising. Okay, now on to REALLY important other stuff. The NFL draft is next week. Luck goes to the Colts, RG3 goes to the Redskins, but what about Tannenbaum? Let me know what you think.

Don't forget to pay your taxes, you don't want to be reading my books in a jail cell wearing ugly orange.
