Happy Merry Month of May:
We're leaving Sunday for New York, London, and Paris, home the end of the month -- goofing off, playing, shows, and, natch, shopping. I'll take lots of photos and put them on my web site and post them on Facebook. So, here's what I want you to do: Consider this a warm up for your really serious efforts when WHIPLASH comes out in June.
l) Raise your arms,
2) Cross your fingers,
3) Begin turning slowly in a circle
4) Chant in a loud flat voice "No Rain, No Rain, Clouds are fine, Clouds are fine, except Volcanic clouds, no Volcanic clouds--"
5) Repeat until you fall over, knowing you've given your best.
Thank you.
WHIPLASH is the 14th FBI thriller. Can you believe that?! Savich and Sherlock are in it up to their noses this time, not to mention the noses of Agent Bowie Richards and Erin Pulaski, an Irish/Polish American P.I. who is the unknowing catalyst that brings on the perfect storm. WHIPLASH will hit leap into your arms on June 15th. If you happen to feel the need to do some random kindness, or, if you are secretly in love with Sherlock, THEN, check your local bookstore first thing that Tuesday morning, and offer to help staff construct a lovely WHIPLASH shrine, maybe about two feet inside the front doors.
The E-book of WHIPLASH will be out in the Fall.
The audio, both abridged and unabridged, is out simultaneously with the hardcover.
KNOCKOUT, the 13th FBI thriller, is out in paperback on 29th for those of you who prefer paperback to hardcover, or those of you who are simply overcome by the urge to read KNOCKOUT again.
Okay, beginning in June it will be time to dance and chant again for the extreme success of WHIPLASH and KNOCKOUT. I'll let you know the chant words and the accompanying movements (possibly this time ending in the full monty, whatcha think?) the first part of June. We'll be using more powerful chants this time -- tune in.
Happy May Day -- Catherine Coulter
