Happy St. Patty's Day:
Who among you has let green beer pass your lips? Today, having lunch at Cliff House (right on the ocean in San Francisco's west coast) I saw lots of guys drinking green beer and I wondered, do they use nasty food coloring? Do they pour in some Scope and swish it around? Whatever, all those partaking were grinning, and, possibly, they had very nice breath.
Now, some news: SPLIT SECOND, the 15th FBI thriller, will now be published July 17th and the paperback WHIPLASH will be published July 5th. Here's some high points in SPLIT SECOND -- Savich and Sherlock have to deal with a killer who happens to be the offspring of one of the most notorious serial murderers in history. Ah, shiver me timbers. Then there's Special Agent Lucy Carlisle's ancient ring -- is there really something special about it? Something that makes it dangerous to all humanity? And finally, there's the mystery of what really happened to Mr. Patil, who owns the 24/7 in Savich's neighborhood.
Upcoming event: I'll be attending the ROMANTIC TIMES BOOKLOVERS CONVENTION in Los Angeles, being held Wednesday, April 5th through Sunday April 10th. If you're going to attend, do stop by and say hi. I'll be signing books on Saturday, talking on a couple of panels, and visiting the booksellers' workshops. There are going to be bunches of folk there, primarily readers, I'm told. Should be lots of fun.
